Christmas Jumper Day and Santa visit

Today Santa came to visit all of the boys and girls in Merlin Woods Primary School. He read us a story and called out some names of boys and girls that have been very good this year! He said he knows all of the boys and girls in Merlin Woods have been working very hard this year. We sang some Christmas songs for Santa too! Today we wore our Christmas jumpers to school.

Maths Week

We had lots of fun with Maths in our classroom for Maths Week. We played counting and number games with some of our parents in class. We made pictures with shapes in art and we played number games in PE too this week! Here are some pictures of the fun we had for Maths Week! 

(Backup) Our Autumn nature walk

We went for a nature walk today in Doughiska Park to look for signs that Autumn is here. We saw lots of different colour leaves on the trees and on the ground. We put on our coats too because the weather is getting colder now that Autumn is here. Look at us with some Autumn leaves we found on our walk!
